Cogito 2024

This hackathon was with the student organization Cogito, the startup Astar, and the grocery chain Meny. The case was detecting which items people scanned at a self checkout machine. I had put together a strong team, and between us we slept about 30 minutes across the whole event. We built a solid model and used voting across several of them to get the best results, and we won.

I already knew a lot of the people there, but I still spent plenty of time talking to new ones.
